Wayne is a director and consultant at Horizons Global, bringing deep regulatory and governance expertise in digital assets and financial services. A qualified regulatory attorney, he has advised many of the world’s largest global exchanges and crypto service providers on navigating Europe’s virtual asset service provider (VASP) regime.

After several years in private practice, Wayne served as in-house counsel to a NASDAQ-listed fintech firm, where he advised on digital asset and payment initiatives and led the acquisition of a digital asset business licence in Bermuda. He later joined a top-tier law firm in the Cayman Islands, advising foundation companies and virtual asset service providers on complex structuring and regulatory matters.

Today, Wayne applies this collective experience as an independent director on a broad range of DAO and Web3-related initiatives, including a number of leading DeFi and stablecoin-based projects.
